Forza Horizon 6: Expand Your Garage Planning Options

Forza Horizon 6 rewards players who are willing to approach the garage as more than a collection of high-performance cars. The British Automotive Series has added several vehicles with very different characteristics, while permanent Drift Attack gives specialized tuning another long-term purpose. Building around those differences can make Forza Horizon 6 Credits easier to manage because upgrades can be distributed according to what each vehicle actually needs instead of being spent repeatedly on one general-purpose build.

The current British Automotive lineup includes the Bentley Continental GT Speed, Ginetta G40 Junior, and Vauxhall Astra VXR as new-to-Horizon additions. They cover three noticeably different approaches to performance. The Bentley begins with substantial power and AWD traction, the Ginetta emphasizes low weight and momentum, and the Astra provides a compact front-wheel-drive turbo platform.

The Bentley is particularly suitable for experimenting with high-speed road builds. Its 771 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque give it considerable acceleration, but a powerful car still needs a stable chassis to make effective use of that output. Improving tire performance, braking, and suspension can make the car more predictable through technical sections, especially when the build remains within a class where handling improvements matter more than simply adding another layer of horsepower.

The Ginetta presents a different tuning challenge. With much less power and a lightweight body, it rewards smooth driving and careful momentum management. Entering a corner too slowly can leave the car struggling to recover speed, while carrying too much speed can force a wider line. That makes the G40 Junior an effective platform for players who want to concentrate on driving technique rather than relying on acceleration to correct mistakes.

The Vauxhall Astra VXR will offer another lower-class project when Winter begins on September 24. Its B 512 stock rating, 236 horsepower, and FWD drivetrain leave room for measured upgrades. Instead of immediately pushing the car into a much higher class, players can work on suspension, braking, tires, and weight while preserving the compact hot-hatch character that makes the car different from the larger performance models.

Drift Attack adds another dimension to this type of garage planning. Shimanoyama Circuit is permanent and can be entered directly from the open world, making it easy to return to whenever a new tune needs testing. The scoring system focuses on drift points rather than lap time, while Clipping Zones reward accurate positioning. Because repeated laps are allowed, players can make small tuning changes and immediately compare the results.

That makes Drift Attack useful even for players who are not primarily interested in leaderboard competition. A drift setup requires an understanding of how the rear tires respond to throttle, how quickly the car changes direction, and how the differential affects transitions. Testing those characteristics on the same circuit makes it easier to isolate the effect of individual upgrades.

The Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition adds a natural long-term target to this process. Its dedicated drift configuration is unlocked through the Drift Attack Collection Journal, while the standard XJ-S is permanently available in the Autoshow. Players can therefore choose between building their own interpretation of the car and using the specialized version as a reference for drift-focused tuning.

The current Playlist structure also rewards preparation. Autumn ends on September 24, after which Winter introduces the Astra VXR and Bentley Bentayga as its main seasonal rewards. Spring later adds the Lotus Esprit V8 and Lotus Emira. Since the reward cars cover different classes and driving styles, a garage organized around distinct roles can make each new season easier to approach.

The Bentley Bentayga is particularly useful as a reminder that a garage does not need to consist entirely of sports cars. Its large SUV body, AWD drivetrain, and substantial engine give it a very different feel from the Ginetta or Lotus models. That contrast can make open-world driving more varied while also providing another platform for experimenting with different surfaces and tuning priorities.

The British Automotive Takeover near Horizon Stadium adds another collection opportunity by featuring British vehicles and temporarily showcasing the 2019 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera and 1961 Jaguar E-type. These rare Wheelspin-associated cars give collectors another reason to visit the dealership area and can become useful additions when building a garage around different eras and vehicle characteristics.

Car Pass additions further increase the range of available projects. The 2025 McLaren W1 brings extreme performance and rear-wheel drive, while the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 focuses heavily on straight-line acceleration. The 1998 Renault Sport Spider and 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe "Luftauto 002" then provide more specialized alternatives, with the Porsche's configuration supporting off-road-oriented driving.

Keeping these vehicles in separate roles also protects successful tunes. Instead of changing a favorite road-racing setup whenever a drift event appears, a dedicated drift car can remain untouched. Likewise, a lower-class hot hatch can retain its carefully balanced setup while a separate high-performance car is used for unrestricted road events.

The upcoming Horizon Meets series should continue expanding the activities surrounding the garage, with a temporary 7-Eleven Konbini Evolving World and permanent EventLab content among the planned additions. This continuing rotation means that collection flexibility can remain useful even after the British Automotive Series ends.

Players interested in expanding their options can also explore Forza Horizon 6 Boosting through U4GM. A broader approach to progression can be useful when the goal is to spend more time driving and tuning, while maintaining enough room in the garage for seasonal rewards, specialized builds, Drift Attack projects, and new content introduced by future series.
