Kill Block gives Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 a very different kind of team fight, and Modern Warfare 4 Boosting (https://www.u4gm.com/cod-mw4/boosting) is only one part of the wider conversation around the mode. The 10v10 Gunfight playlist is expected to launch fully on October 23, 2026, after its beta period. Twenty players enter each round with one life, one shared loadout, and very little room for careless moves. You cannot lean on a favourite build here. Everyone receives the same primary weapon, sidearm, tactical item, and lethal equipment, so smart movement matters more than personal setup.
Why The Opening Rounds Matter
The first two rounds can shape the whole match. Teams switch starting sides after round one, which gives both groups a fair look at the arena. A quick push might catch opponents off guard, but rushing without support usually leaves gaps elsewhere. You will soon notice that callouts matter just as much as aim. One player holding a lane can give teammates time to rotate, while a quiet flank may pull defenders away from the main fight.
Match Element How It Works
Team size Two teams of ten
Loadouts One shared set for every player
Round objective Clear the opposing team before time expires
Match victory First team to win six rounds
Map refresh New layout and equipment after every two rounds
A Map That Refuses To Stay Still
Kill Block, also called the West Bridge Advanced Military Training Facility, is built from three movable sections known as Slabs. Two End Slabs hold the starting areas, while the Central Slab creates the busiest fighting space. After every two rounds, those sections shift into a new Combo. The result is a fresh arrangement of lanes, cover, windows, and open ground. With more than 500 possible layouts planned at launch, remembering one route will not be enough. Players have to read the space again each time.
How To Win More Rounds
A few habits make the mode easier to read.
Stay close enough to trade for a teammate, but do not stack in one doorway.
Check the new layout before repeating an old route.
Save equipment for the moment an enemy push becomes clear.
Track team health when the timer is nearly finished.
If neither side is fully eliminated before the clock stops, an Overtime flag appears in the combat area. Capturing it wins the round, but a team can also prevail by holding more total health when overtime ends. That rule creates tense finishes, especially when several players are already wounded. Matches continue through these shifts until one side reaches six round wins, and players looking for a more unusual way to practise pressure situations may also come across CoD MW4 Bot Lobbies (https://www.u4gm.com/cod-mw4/bot-lobbies) while preparing for the playlist.
